2025-05-07
Project Location: Shenzhen North Railway Station, Shenzhen, Guangdong
Commissioning Date: June 2023
Project Scale: 3 Solar Sunflowers
Project Vision: A demonstrative first step in the low-carbon transformation of a major transportation hub
In June 2023, the Solar Sunflower system, developed by Chengde Wanze Energy Technology Co., Ltd., made its debut at Shenzhen North Railway Station.
As a key comprehensive transportation hub in southern China, the installation of three Solar Sunflowers at the station marks the first step in its green, low-carbon upgrade initiative.
This project integrates advanced sun-tracking PV technology with distinctive artistic design.
The Solar Sunflowers not only intelligently track sunlight to generate electricity with high efficiency but also enhance the modern station environment with their visually striking and contemporary appearance blending technology and nature in a meaningful way.
By introducing clean energy, the project aims to reduce reliance on conventional power sources and promote the principles of green travel and sustainable development to passengers in a highly visible manner.
It lays a solid foundation for broader energy-saving renovations and serves as an innovative, practical example for the green transformation of transportation hubs across the country.
